Cape Town offers a selection of open-air music festivals from early spring through to late autumn. With events running almost every weekend, something had to be done to remind outdoor enthusiasts to put some money aside for Rocking the Daisies. This three-day festival offers the cream of the crop in terms of live performances and missing out on the action is simply not an option. It was important to capture the essence of music as a multi-sensory experience. Using synaesthesia as a concept, this alternative media campaign reveals the intimate relationship between sound and colour. It soon becomes evident that Rocking the Daisies is the place where Music Comes to Life.
